The Spotlight on CCC Management (or should it be said Mismanagement?) of Gypsy Sites.  

Breaches of Planning Permission and Fire Regulations are apparently, according to the Leader of Cornwall County Council, Councillor Lobb, not particularly worrying if his following statement is to be believed " It is really not a matter of calling individuals to account for breaches in the fire regulations.  I have to say that I am very impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the Council staff involved in the site's management." !!!!!

I can of course only assume that, if there were tragic consequences of the disregard of fire regulations, a judge might not be quite so favourably inpressed by the professionalism of Council staff as Councillor Lobb clearly is!!!!
